Junior AI Engineer

You build and maintain the AI agents that run on Cyberdune's multi-agent platform, turning client and product requirements into working, tested code. You work with LLMs, prompting, and integration tools to make agents behave reliably, and support the rest of the engineering team with solid, well-documented components.

What you'll do

• Build and test AI agents and their supporting components using Python, Docker, LLMs and MCP tools
• Write and refine prompts and agent logic, and evaluate model behaviour against defined cases
• Package and run components in Docker for local development and testing
• Follow code review, testing and security practices set by the team
• Document own work clearly, including setup steps and known limitations
• Ask for help and escalate blockers early rather than guessing

What you bring

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science, AI, Data Science or a related field
• 0–2 years of experience. Hands-on with Python, Docker, LLMs (prompting, calling APIs, basic fine-tuning or RAG) and MCP tools, gained through work, internships, or personal/study projects. No infrastructure or cluster management experience required.
• Fluent English; Dutch is a plus
• Right to work in the Netherlands
• You use only AI tools approved by Cyberdune for confidential information. Pluses: Kubernetes, Azure, behaviour-driven development, Claude, BPMN, Petri nets, Neo4j, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis, Node.js.
• You're adaptable, act with integrity, bring technical expertise in AI and agents, focus on quality, apply responsible AI judgement, collaborate well, and take initiative with accuracy and ambition.
